Ms. Dunlap has been an
economist for 28 years, a financial advisor for 20 years, an investment banker for 15 years, a commercial banker for 8 years,
a general securities representative for 17 years and is a registered investment advisor.
Ms. Dunlap has provided consulting services to cities, counties, municipal utilities, universities, school districts
and airport authorities in the State of Florida. Ms. Dunlap’s
career in investment banking and corporate banking included government agencies and multi-national banking clients. Throughout
her career, she has financed over $4 billion in tax-exempt bonds, variable rate paper, including commercial paper, interest
rate swaps, auction rate securities, SBA loans, taxable financings, industrial development revenue bonds, CRA, private placements
and tax increment financings.
Ms. Dunlap has worked
as a public finance banker for major Wall Street firms throughout her career,
including Oppenheimer & Co., Dean Witter and SunTrust Public Finance. She obtained her credit, commercial and capital
markets training at Barclays Bank, PLC. Ms. Dunlap’s focus is in evaluating
a client’s financial condition and making recommendations to clients regarding potential credit rating upgrades. Additionally, she drafts all documents pertaining to credit rating presentations as
well as outlines for credit rating visits. Ms. Dunlap assists clients in drafting
debt, investment and swap policies. In the past, she has assisted the Cities
of Winter Park, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs and Maitland,
Pasco County,
and Florida Municipal Power Agency in drafting their debt, investment and swap policies.
Ms. Dunlap holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and has several securities
licenses including: Municipal Securities Representative, Series 52; General Securities
Representative, Series 7; and Municipal Securities Principal, Series 53 and is a registered Investment Advisor.
